Battery Design Engineer | Battle Motors (Crane Carrier), Ohio, USA                                                         Jul. 2022 – Present

  • Designed an external battery thermal management assembly in SolidWorks, procured parts, tested, created installation instructions, and completed ECN for production.
  • Designed a 12 VDC battery box in SolidWorks sheet metal, performed FEA analysis, created detailed drawings, and ensured timely manufacturing.
  • Calculated heat rejection of EV components, updated the cooling system design in SolidWorks, and created DFMEA and DVP&R.
  • Performed FEA simulation on battery coolant tank mounting bracket for various G-forces.
  • Analyzed battery packaging within truck frame rail using SolidWorks for optimal space efficiency.
  • Incorporated GD&T into battery rack drawings to minimize assembly misfits and enhance production quality.

  • Prepared a working paper for the board of directors’ approval for a $2.1 million compressor commissioning.
